Brian K (The Brian Jin) Elegant harmonies, literate lyrics, and skilled songcraft. I don’t know what else can be said! Personal highlight is the closer, “Gilmore Pirates.” I’m a sucker for a waltz!

Well I think of my father How he changes and he alters As the seasons grow colder He’s looking older These old walls are pale blue With fragile pieces of you And they will never be the same But I will love you always Whoa whoa whoa whoa I grew tired I grew thin Weaving clothes I can’t fit in Not a smile but a grin Hangs from my chin Cause now I’m scared, I don’t know How these seeds will ever grow And I don’t understand How they slipped from my hand Whoa whoa whoa whoa When words all but fail We can just inhale Take this moment in We got right now We got right now We got right now We got right now We got right now We got right now We got right now We got right now We got right now When words all but fail We can just inhale Take this moment in We got right now We got right now We got right now We got right now We got right now Well I think of my father How he changes and he alters As the seasons grow colder He’s looking older These old walls are pale blue With fragile pieces of you And they will never be the same But I will love you always Always Always Whoa whoa whoa whoa Whoa whoa whoa whoa

Stagnant 04:05
What do you do in the morning After all your guests have left All they do is leave you With questions of your success I don’t know why I can’t close my eyes and fly I don’t know why You can’t look me in the eyes You say life doesn’t work like that No You tell me I am romantic That my head is in the clouds If only I saw what you see I wouldn’t put so much at risk I don’t know why I can’t close my eyes and fly I don’t know why You can’t look me in the eyes You say life doesn’t work like that No Oh Oh Ohhhhh Oh Oh Ohhhhh Cars on the street And people are talking But I am not moving Cars on the street And people are talking But I am not moving Cars on the street And people are talking But I am not moving Cars on the street (I don’t know why) And people are talking (I can’t) But I am not moving (close my eyes and fly) Cars on the street (I don’t know why) And people are talking (you can’t look) But I am not moving (me in the eyes) Cars on the street (you say life doesn’t work) And people are talking (like that) But I am not moving (no) Cars on the street (Oh) And people are talking (Oh) But I am not moving (Ohhhhh) Cars on the street (Oh) And people are talking (Oh) But I am not moving (Oh) Cars on the street And people are talking But I am not moving

Cause if we’re just one, two, three And time washes over me It knocks me down And I can’t get up It knocks me down Why don’t you talk to me It’s not how it’s supposed to be It knocks me down And I can’t get up It knocks me down Can’t you see what’s happening The world keeps spinning This can’t be self-sustaining No one’s winning I always thought that we Would never stop being Good friends And that isn’t true That isn’t true After this all ends Could we be close again Well I just don’t know I just don’t know Can’t you see what’s happening The world keeps spinning This can’t be self-sustaining No one’s winning I don’t want to be in a ghost town anymore I don’t want to be in a ghost town anymore I don’t want to be in a ghost town anymore But we could just talk like we used to on the floor Cause if we’re just one, two, three And time washes over me It knocks me down And I can’t get up It knocks me down Cause if we’re just one, two, three And time washes over me It knocks me down And I can’t get up It knocks me down And I can’t get up It knocks me down And I can’t get up It knocks me down

Starlight 04:10
I will sing When you dance with me Very softly Through the sky We are moving Through all this darkness And I have nothing To hide The Doctor said Just go to bed Rest dear In the morning we’ll be here We are Traveling so far By the moonlight In the starlight I will sing When you dance with me Very softly Through the sky We are moving Through all this darkness And I have nothing To hide The Doctor said Just go to bed Rest dear In the morning we’ll be here We are Traveling so far By the moonlight In the starlight What a friend What a friend What a friend What a friend What a friend What a friend (Ohhhh) What a friend What a friend (Ohhhh) What a friend What a friend The Doctor said Just go to bed Rest dear In the morning we’ll be here We are Traveling so far By the moonlight In the starlight What a friend What a friend (Ohhhh) What a friend What a friend (Ohhhh) What a friend What a friend (Ohhhh) What a friend What a friend

Summer’s gone and fall is here It’s time to face a whole new year We weren’t happy Cause our sun was taken away But it’ll be okay It’s not fair and I miss your face There are people trying to take your place We weren’t happy Cause our sun was taken away But it’ll be okay Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh It’s a long car ride On a Sunday night And campfire light Till the sun sits high And train track sides Till we realize Our sounds will echo And carry high Straight out to the ocean Straight out to the sea Far away from me It’s a long car ride On a Sunday night And campfire light Till the sun sits high And train track sides Till we realize Our sounds will echo And carry high Straight out to the ocean Straight out to the sea Far away from me Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh It’s a long car ride On a Sunday night And campfire light Till the sun sits high And train track sides Till we realize Our sounds will echo And carry high Straight out to the ocean Straight out to the sea Far away from me Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh

All I can remember about that last summer Is it was a lazy shade of gold The air, the road, your skin, and your front seat But that’s looking back on the old Every town was better than its neighbor You dreamed about London and me You showed me Orion and how to take a stand But I was just glad to be seen And I know that these are the things that we ask for in time But how could you ever know where you are is right When I take you home my dear When I take you home When I take you home my dear When I take you home You screamed out your last words they echoed from the canyon And all of the places we've roamed From the coast to the heartland I’m still holding your hand But there are more highways to go And I know that these are the things that we ask for in time But how could you ever know where you are is right When I take you home my dear When I take you home When I take you home my dear When I take you home When I take you home my dear When I take you home When I take you home my dear When I take you home All I can remember about that last summer Is it was a lazy shade of gold

about

Liminal Space is about living in the time in-between, sitting on the threshold of now but not yet. From tracks about feeling completely helpless and alone (Stagnant) to celebrations of those you love and the time you have with them right now in the present moment (Love You Always) this EP is about the tension between our different experiences in the ever changing world around us.
